Blessed was a hobby run a-muck. After 20 years struggling with the golden handcuffs of corporate America, I stepped out on faith. I left my job as a sales person for an international corporation and set out to make a living honoring God and sharing the message of Christ. I am thankful to have a wonderful supportive husband who stood beside me all the way.
I started by making jewelry and peddling my wares in local boutiques, coffee shops and church bookstores. I then branched out to a pavilion at First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Texas. After being asked a dozen times every month where my store was the idea started to stick. God opened the door to a temporary space on Grapevine Main Street, October 2007, Blessed was born. A few months later GOD provided a beautiful 3000 square foot showroom. In June 2012, we closed the boutique in Grapevine.
My ministry was not from a pulpit but from a boutique where I could meet people from all over the country and share what I love most, Christ and also what I like a whole bunch, gifts, handbags, jewelry, & fun clothing. Please pray that I am wise enough to hear what GOD has in store for me in the next phase of my life. I know it is now time to support my husband, which means we will be moving to another state. I’m not sure where God is taking us but I’m excited about the journey.
